Hey, I'm Jessica DaSilva, university editor. I'm out at the Orange & Brew getting bitten by mosquitoes because of my experience and expertise in university news.

I reported on Student Government about a year ago during fall 2006. Before that, I was one of few students, aside from SG officials, who actually kept up with SG shenanigans.

In spring 2007 I was the UF administration reporter, but served as the go-to gal for SG background information and procedural knowledge.

I love politics, political theory, ranting about journalistic integrity and pretentious literature. Long walks on the beach aren't my thing.
