As the Alligator's opinions editor, I'm the most qualified person here giving opinions tonight.

Yes, I'm the one who writes Darts & Laurels.

I started out as an Alligator columnist in fall 2006 (remember "Jess Suggests"?) and in spring 2007 I was named opinions editor. For some reason, I've stuck around. My favorite part of my job is coming up with what I consider really witty headlines and, of course, writing Darts & Laurels.

I'm a self-proclaimed politics nut, I love Gators football but hate basketball. Unlike Jessie DaSilva, I do enjoy long walks on the beach.
