I’ve heard students complain about how they have job interviews coming up and they aren't prepared. Many times, I ask them if they've visited the Career Resource Center on campus. That’s when I’m reminded of just how many students are unaware of UF's endless resources tailored to our needs.

Should you ever need help with your cover letter or resume, you can visit the CRC. I’ve gone there about seven times just to perfect my resume. The staff also answers any questions about internship interviews or job interviews.

If you’re a business major, you might have heard of CAP mentors. These are students on campus who hold office hours just to help you! I’ve gotten so much useful advice from these mentors about GPA, extracurricular involvement and internships.

For a great college experience, take advantage of what is given to you. UF provides endless opportunities for students with events and programs to make you a better candidate for your dream job when you graduate. Take advantage of your resources. They are there for a reason.
