The editors of Bacopa Literary Review will host an afternoon of readings by local authors whose work has been published in the journal, Saturday, April 14th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Matheson History Museum, 513 E. University Avenue, in Gainesville.

This event will feature poetry and prose readings by Gainesville-area artists and the journal's editors. Everyone is invited to come out and experience a literary smorgasbord that will give attendees a taste of the local talent reflected in Bacopa, a Gainesville-based international literary journal published by the Writers Alliance of Gainesville.

The Writers Alliance will provide light refreshments, and copies of Bacopa will be available for purchase. Information about Writers Alliance activities, membership benefits, and new-member signup forms will also be available.

This event is co-sponsored by the Matheson History Museum; attendance is free and open to the public.
