A reported revenge plot on the car of an ex-boyfriend’s lover landed one local woman in jail Thursday morning.

Gainesville Police arrested Hub cook Tiffany Marie Ebanks, 27, on charges of burglary and criminal mischief, according to an arrest report.

At about 2:30 a.m., Ebanks broke into Franki Renee Bullock’s car in the parking lot of Gator Place Condominiums, at 4000 SW 23rd St., according to the report.

Ebanks opened a container of oil in the car and poured it on the seats and side panels, then onto the windows outside of the car. She scratched into the car’s paint in several places and etched “b****” on the passenger-side door.

Police connected Ebanks to the incident after collecting fingerprints from the car and the oil container, according to the report.

She told officers she caused the about $1,000 worth of damage to the car because she was angry with Bullock for dating her ex-boyfriend, according to the report.

Officers booked Ebanks into the Alachua County Jail.
