Miller’s Ale House relocates to Celebration Pointe

After spending 26 years on Archer Road, Gainesville Miller's Ale House will be moving to a new location.

Gainesville Miller’s Ale House, the fifth location in the Miller’s Ale House franchise, is moving to Celebration Pointe.

The new restaurant is opening July 23 and will be located at 2881 Bass Pro Shops Blvd., right in front of Bass Pro Shops.

It will hold a soft opening for friends and family Saturday as a test-run before officially opening, said Kristin Scott, general manager of the Gainesville location.

Chris Bendel, director of new restaurant openings, said he is excited to be a part of the chain’s 53rd restaurant opening.

“In the past four years, we have rebranded ourselves and redesigned our look from a sports bar look to a restaurant that caters to all ages,” Bendel said. “The new design is sleeker and less cluttered. It’s more of an open space.”

The outside patio will be fully air conditioned for guests who want an outside experience. The restaurant will also have more TVs and a wider beer selection.

The restaurant prides itself on its 48 beer taps and chicken zingers, Scott said. The restaurant has a range of American cuisine, from shareable appetizers to full-course meals.

The store will have 90 employees who are a mix of college students and locals.

Adam Baird, a new restaurant employee, said he is looking forward to working there because of the lively environment and friendly staff.

“I know they have a lot of regulars, which makes me feel good about the place because they make their guests feel like family and continue to come back,” Baird said.
