It’s 3 p.m. in your dorm and you’re wondering: What is there to do this afternoon?

How about jumping out of a plane?

Student organizations like the UF Falling Gators Skydiving Club are a great way to make friends and break the monotony of the academic week.

There are more than 975 student organizations registered at UF. Some have hundreds of members. Others don’t fill a classroom, but all of them offer students a chance to grow.

If free-falling through the sky isn’t your style, you could help design a classroom where impoverished children will attend their first day of school. Children Beyond Our Borders at UF will help you get started.

Or maybe you want to burn off lunch with a game of Quidditch. The Florida Quidditch team took second place in the 2011 World Cup.

Organizations cater to every interest. For a list of all of UF’s student organizations, visit union.ufl.edu/involvement/search.
