Five questions you may have about UF's canceled football game vs. LSU:

1. Will the game be rescheduled?

UF athletics director Jeremy Foley said UF is “100 percent committed to whatever scenario (the SEC) can come up with,” but as of now, the game has not been rescheduled.

2. Can I refund my tickets?

You can apply to have your ticket refunded, but refunds are not being guaranteed at this time. Contact the UAA Box Office to submit a request for a refunded ticket at 352-375-4683.

3. Why wasn’t the game moved to LSU?

UF athletics director Foley said it would’ve been nearly impossible to make last-minute travel arrangements, adding that moving the game to Louisiana wasn’t “in the best interest of safety.”

4. Could it have been played anywhere else?

Foley said the only locations discussed were Gainesville and Baton Rouge. Nothing else was considered.

5. What kind of affect will the Hurricane Matthew have on the O’Connell Center construction?

Foley said there’s “no question that the construction site could be impacted,” but they will worry about any potential destruction after the hurricane passes. The O’Connell Center was set to be finished Dec. 15.
