Florida senior all-arounder Kytra Hunter performs her floor routine where she scored 9.975 during the 2015 NCAA gymnastics championships on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in Fort Worth, Texas.

As Kytra Hunter walked off the floor for the final time, coach Rhonda Faehn gave her a long hug.

Next came the assistant coaches, then Bridget Sloan.

Fellow competitors from other teams waited nearby to get their chance. Everyone wanted to give Hunter a proper goodbye.

Hunter gave herself a proper goodbye, too.

The senior ended her collegiate career Sunday by winning the 2015 NCAA floor title, adding to an already accomplished career and one of the best weekends a gymnast can have.

Hunter scored a 9.9625 in the event, just beating Denver’s Nina McGee and Oklahoma’s Brenna Dowell by 0.0125. The title was the second individual championship of the weekend for the senior. She also won the 2015 NCAA all-around title on Friday in addition to being part of Florida’s Super Six title Saturday.

"Winning floor means everything to me," Hunter said, "and being able to represent the University of Florida means even more. Honestly, this is the best way to end my senior year and I’m just so proud."

Junior Bridget Sloan finished second on vault and bars with a 9.925 and 9.9500, respectively.

On beam, Hunter finished tied for fifth with a 9.875 and freshman Alex McMurtry finished tied for eighth with a 9.825.

Freshman Kennedy Baker finished 12th on floor with a 9.775, while junior Bridgette Caquatto finished 15th with a 9.3375. Caquatto’s legs gave out on her final tumbling pass, likely due to fatigue from competing three days in a row.
