Jim McElwain landed two more verbal commits from the recruiting trail on Monday.

McElwain flipped defensive end Jabari Zuniga (6-foot-3, 265 pounds, Marietta, Georgia, Sprayberry High) from North Carolina State to Florida on Monday evening. Zuniga, a three-star defensive end, was verbally committed to NC State since last November. He visited UF the weekend of Jan. 16 before taking a visit to Arkansas this past weekend.

Florida's 2015 class moves from the 102nd ranked class to the 98th in the country following Zuniga’s commitment, according Rivals.com.

The Gators now have 10 verbal commitments in their 2015 class.

Wide receiver Rick Wells (6-foot-0, 187 pounds, Jacksonville, Raines High) also verbally committed to Florida’s 2016 class late Monday.

Wells committed to the Gators following an official visit over the weekend. With Wells’ commitment, Florida’s 2016 class has a total of three members.

UF coaches visit Jefferson: Coach McElwain along with new defensive coordinator Geoff Collins and defensive line coach Terrell Williams had an in-home visit with five-star defensive end Cece Jefferson (6-foot-2, 245 pounds, Glen St. Mary, Florida, Baker County High) on Monday as well.

Jefferson — the No. 2 strongside defensive end in the country, according to Rivals.com — visited Auburn on the weekend of Jan. 16, and has a visit to LSU scheduled for this weekend — the last one before National Signing Day.
