The dream of the ‘90s is alive in Portland, or at least according to IFC’s quirky comedy “Portlandia.” The show’s satirical approach to the hipster culture will have you bending over laughing at its accuracy — and maybe even realizing you’re guilty of a few hipster-isms yourself.

Comedians Carrie Brownstein and Fred Armisen star in the slightly scripted, mostly improvised comedy series. Featuring an array of characters ranging from extreme feminists to obsessive vegans to lazy bohemians, the writers and actors have captured everything that makes you cringe about the subculture in a lighthearted and harmless manner.

If you’d rather lounge on your pleather couch this summer and not engage in any activity that entails suntan lotion and a Pitbull Pandora station, then “Portlandia” is for you.

Netflix currently streams the first four seasons, offering enough episodes to have you feeling like you’re in Portland, “The place where young people go to retire,” according to the comedy.

So take out your farmers-market snacks and locally brewed alcoholic refreshments. Here’s a drinking game for your binging.
