The Florida men’s golf team finalized its spring 2021 schedule, head coach JC Deacon announced Friday.

The Gators will kick off the season in Jacksonville at the Timuquana Collegiate, taking place at Timuquana Country Club. This is the first time they will compete in the event, which is set to take place Jan. 25- 26.

Florida will then host the Gators Invitational presented by VyStar. The Gators won this event last year, with sophomore Ricky Castillo triumphing in the individual tournament. He shot a 13-under-par, the second lowest in tournament history and the third lowest in Gators’ history. UF will look to defend its title at Mark Bostick Golf Course Feb. 12-14.

After a week off, the Gators will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to compete in the LSU Tiger Invitational. The tournament will take place at the LSU Golf Course Feb. 26-28.

Florida won’t play its next tournament until the middle of March, where it will travel to Auburn, Alabama, to compete in the Tiger Invitational. The 54-hole, three-day event will take place at Grand NAtional Golf Course March 15-17.

UF will conclude its regular season in Naples, at the Calusa Cup. While the tournament is in the Sunshine State, it's hosted by the University of Iowa. It will take place at Calusa Pines Golf Club, which Golf Digest named one of the top 10 best new private clubs  in the country. The Gators will wrap up regular season play April 4-6.

Florida will begin postseason play at the SEC Championship, which will be played at Sea Island Golf Club in St. Simons Islands, Georgia. Sea Island has hosted the SEC Championship since 2001, marking this year as  the 20th time it has hosted the event.

Sea Island is home to three different golf courses, but the championship will take place on the Seaside Course, a long, links-style course. It is 7,000 feet long and par-70.

The tournament will be a five-day event. The first two days will be match play, with the final round of match play broadcasted live on the SEC Network. Teams will follow up the match-play event with three days of stroke-play competition. The SEC Championship is set to take place from April 21-25.

The NCAA Regional Championship doesn’t have a location yet, but four are being considered: the OSU Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio; the University of Louisville Golf Club in Louisville, Kentucky; the University Club in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, California. The tournament will take place from May 16-19.

The Gators’ season will conclude in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the National Championship. The tournament will be held at Grayhawk Golf Club from May 28-June 2.
