Hippodrome Theatre’s Spring Mini Play Observership
A Behind-the-Scenes Look Into
Want to maximize the fun and minimize the time?  The Hipp is celebrating its 45th year as the region’s only professional regional theatre, and we’re opening our doors to you for exclusive backstage access as we create a production from script to stage.  Be a part of the artistic process in this 3 week observership with our Florida premiere production of RIPCORD by David Lindsey-Abaire, a hilarious high-stakes comedy that is as heartfelt as it is deliciously inappropriate. The New York Times called it “GREAT FUN and GENUINELY MOVING”.

Participants in the Observership will witness designer presentations, the cast table read of the script, additional rehearsals, a backstage Hippodrome tour, and the chance to experience a press run of the show. This Mini Observership culminates with a preview performance and post-show discussion with the cast and creative team. Cost for 3 classes is only $70 and includes 1 ticket to the preview performance.
