What happens when a retired NYC policeman, Walter, his son Junior and girlfriend Lulu, and Walter’s recovering addict friend, Ozwaldo, face possible eviction from their rent-controlled apartment on Riverside Drive in New York City? Race, politics, and family responsibilities comes to a head in Stephen Adly Guirgis’ Between Riverside and Crazy. This 2015 Pulitzer Prize-winning play about a not so average ‘family’ will capture the heart of its viewers with compassion and humor.
