Gish

A pregnant woman said Gainesville man Michael Gish, 45, pulled her hair and shoved her Friday night, according to Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

The incident took place near the intersection of Tower Road and West Newberry Road, according to the police report. Gish was following the woman, whom he had previously been in a relationship with, northbound across Newberry Road. Gish approached her from behind and pulled her hair.

The woman attempted to get away from Gish by entering the Chevron gas station at the intersection, the report said. Gish followed her into the gas station and shoved her before she entered the bathroom to escape.

Gish was charged with aggravated battery on a pregnant woman, a second-degree felony. He remains in jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
