Alicia McCord was arrested after she drove her vehicle into another woman Sunday evening, according to Alachua County Sheriff’s Office deputies.

The incident began when a Gainesville woman drove to her husband’s home, which is separate from her residence, to bring him a Father’s Day gift. When she arrived, she found a white Kia Soul parked in his driveway. The woman took pictures of the car. She suspected her husband may be having an affair with the driver, 38-year-old McCord. The woman left after her husband denied McCord was at his house, according to the report.

McCord drove to the woman’s home and reportedly demanded the woman delete the photos of her car or hand them over to her.

The woman declined and asked McCord to leave. When she refused, a fight broke out between the two women. Witnesses broke up the fight, and McCord got back into her car, according to the report.

Before leaving, McCord put her car in drive and headed toward the woman. McCord pinned the woman’s right leg between her car and another vehicle parked in the driveway before reversing and leaving the area, according to the report.

McCord was charged with aggravated battery, a second-degree felony.

McCord was released Monday afternoon after posting a bail amount of $10,000.
