Gainesville Police are looking for who shot into a home Tuesday night.

A person or group shot into a house on the 2200 block of Southeast 11 Avenue, off of Southeast Hawthorne Road, at about 8:30 p.m., GPD spokesperson Ofc. Ben Tobias said. Five people were inside the house, but no one was injured.

Police found bullet holes in the windows, doors, roof and walls of the house and about 24 rifle shell casings in the street, Tobias wrote in an email.
The investigation is ongoing. Police are looking for potential victims, witnesses and video surveillance footage from nearby businesses, he said.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Alachua County CrimeStoppers at 352-3725-STOP.
