Police arrested a man Sunday who was accused of touching a girl under 12 years old and taking photos of her.
On Sunday, the girl told Alachua Police that Curtis Holcy, 36, of Alachua, had been molesting for the past three months, according to a police arrest report.
She said she remembers Holcy trying to take photos and videos of her, looking underneath her shorts while she pretended to sleep and touching her vagina through her underwear at least three times, the report said. She became aware of his actions in November.
Holcy once offered her $40 to let him take naked photos of her, the report said. She also saw him go into the bathroom with a phone while she was showering. When she confronted him, he left the room.
He denied the accusations and let police look through his phone, the report said. They found photos of her legs underneath sheets with the camera directed toward her vagina and a video attempting to record inside her bedroom before she exited the shower.
Holcy was charged with lewd or lascivious molestation against a victim 12 years of age and voyeurism, the report said.
He remained in the Alachua County Jail on Monday in lieu of a $250,000 bond.
