“Oh s---” is what a man said when the woman he allegedly raped woke up.

During the night of March 15, Jax’acques Johnson, 27, of Gainesville, and the woman went out for drinks with friends, according to a Gainesville Police arrest report.

At about 2 a.m. the next day, the woman returned to one of the friends’ home where she fell asleep upstairs, and the friend slept downstairs, the report said. Johnson didn’t return with them.

After she fell asleep, she woke up to Johnson raping her, police said. He said “Oh s---” and apologized.

She left the house, told the friend what happened and that she didn’t know Johnson, police said.

Johnson texted multiple messages to the friend the woman stayed with, one of which said, “Bruh im soo sorry man. I hope she ok but I can only image,” the report said.

The friend told police they were asleep during the incident, and Johnson was a friend of an old roommate, the report said.

When police arrested Johnson Wednesday, he told them he went to the friend’s house, police said. The friend asked Johnson to play music, so he went upstairs to get the woman’s phone. He said she told him to get in bed, so they kissed and had sex twice.

Johnson was charged with sexual battery, the report said.

He’s being held at the Alachua County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
