ESPN and the Southeastern Conference has reached a huge ridiculous 15-year deal. The deal begins in 2009-10 and will include events from football, men's basketball and women's basketball. Check our Web site later tonight as we'll have a full story.

UF tight end Cornelius Ingram is being sued for less than $1,065 for back rent by Paradigm Properties, according to Alachua County civil court records. Ingram has failed to pay rent due since before July 7, according to the document. Ingram recently had successful surgery on his torn left ACL.

UF has already lost tight end Cornelius Ingram for the season and receiver Percy Harvin still hasn't fully practiced, and now No. 2 receiver Louis Murphy is out with a sprained ankle. Coach Urban Meyer said he doesn't "think it's that serious" and Murphy should be back later this week. However, still not a good sign. For those keeping track at home, that probably leaves Deonte Thompson has the Gators top receiver right now.

Forty-one-year-old Dara Torres was the anchor on the U.S. team that won the 400-freestyle relay Saturday night, leading them to a silver medal. The former Gator might have been able to catch the Netherlands team if there were just 50 to 100 more meters in the race, but the Dutch were too far ahead when she started her leg.

Former Gator Ryan Lochte's quest to top Michael Phelps is still going on. Lochte won the bronze medal in the 400-meter individual medley Saturday at the Olympics. Phelps won the gold and claimed a new world record.

1. We've heard in the offseason that UF was going to utilize a two-tight end set with Cornelius Ingram and Aaron Hernandez this season, but with that no longer a possibility with Ingram out that might not be such an attractive option.

Ronnie Wilson, who was kicked off the team for shooting a firearm into the air in downtown Gainesville in 2007, is back on the team as a walk-on. And now he's playing defensive line. Wilson played offensive guard for the 2006 championship team.
