BREAKING THE ICE -- Christian Madali, an 18-year-old UF aerospace engineering freshman, breaks apart an ice pop Wednesday in the Computer Science and Engineering building to find out the name of his “big” in UF’s Chinese American Student Association. The organization held an Avatar-themed event in which members did fire, air, earth or water-themed activities to find the names of their bigs and littles, the students they will mentor or be mentored by in the club.
APOCALYPSE NAW -- Amy Fu, a 19-year-old UF advertising sophomore, dances to “Or Naw” by The Weekend during Apocalypse Dance Crew’s fall auditions in the Reitz Union on Wednesday night. While the dance crew is all male, several of the about 30 people at the audition were women who came just to learn a dance and have fun.
