Karahalios participated in the Worldwide Artist Paint Out at the Kanapaha Botanical Gardens on Friday afternoon. Karahalios has painted in this event for several years now. "I'm fortunate to be invited each year," she said.

New members of Alpha Omicron Pi run into the arms of their new sorority sisters outside the Alpha Omicron Pi house on Sunday afternoon. The girls were bussed to the end of the street and then ran to find their new big sister in the sorority. "Being able to actually see them and put a face to their name is really exciting," said Chapter President Jenny Ryan, a 21-year-old health sciences major.
