Florida (14-13, 7-7 SEC) has lost four of its last five games and has slid off the bubble of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament. The Gators' chance to dance took a major blow after Castleton went down, and Florida will crawl its way to the finish line with four games left in the season.

Kugel has come into his own in Florida’s rotation since scoring zero points against Florida State Nov. 18. Kugel has steadily progressed his production on offense — his average for points per game grew from 2.8 points to 7.4 since UF’s game against the Owls.
