Gainesville will host its first annual Fall Festival this Saturday.
This Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. each day, The Wooly will host its second Maker Faire. This fair will transform the venue into a market of local vendors selling handmade, vintage and general niche items. The event will also feature local artists showcasing their work, with admission free and open to the public.
UF’s School of Theatre and Dance will host its annual Fall BFA Dance Showcase, opening Wednesday at 7 p.m. under the theme “Mind Your Step.”
The Hippodrome State Theatre will host two weeks of international performances throughout the end of October and early November starting today. The performances will include world-traveling actors from the Workcenter of Jerzy Growtowski and Thomas Richards.
