Chris Major, the 26-year-old co-founder of Ocala Comic Con, poses for a photo in one of the Hilton ballrooms that housed the event. With an attendance of over 1,000 on Saturday, Major said the convention has consistently brought in large crowds over the three years since its inception.
Jeffery Morales, 27, displays copies of “Batman Beyond” and “Justice League” comic books to another guest at the Ocala Comic Con on June 20 at the Hilton hotel in Ocala. Morales said he was happy with his finds, which were 50 percent off.
