Addison Cordozo, 5, and her sister Brooke, 9, spend time with Trevor, a 5 month old dog, before possibly adopting him on Sunday. This shelter, the Alachua County Animal Services Department, is offering free adoptions for the ASPCA Rachel Ray Challange, their goal is to save 2,500 animals by the end of August.

The new model can travel 45 mph faster and can accommodate an extra patient and crew member, improving their capability to transport patients. ShandsCair held an open house on Saturday to celebrate the new addition.
