Calvin Taylor, who is staying at Dignity Village, drinks a beer outside of his tent on Thursday afternoon, unwavered by the news of an oncoming hurricane. “I believe in Jesus Christ,” Taylor said, placing his safety in God’s hands. Dignity Village is a space where homeless people can come to establish residency and community.
