Many University of Florida students have that insatiable sweet tooth that requires icing, chocolate, cake or a not so healthy mix of them all plus some.

Mochi, Sakara Sweets and Red Mango often satisfy that craving for me. However there is one other place out there for you sugar mongers.

While out with a friend at the Tigoa Town Center, we happened upon a quaint looking bakery: The Flour Pot Bakery.

We opened the door with the intent to just look, but once we stepped in and smelled, we knew we'd definitely be buying something.

The Flour Pot, donned chalkboard menus high on the walls. Breakfast, sandwiches, cakes, pies and other sweets lined the blackboards.

But what really made our mouths water was the food in the glass cases. Along with breads, were decorated brownies, cupcakes and cheesecake.

I purchased a vanilla cupcake with a flower designed cupcake and my friend purchased a chocolate one with a chocolate coveted pretzel on the top.

We sat at one of the tables inside and I can easily say it was one of the best cupcakes I've ever had.

I would suggest anyone looking for a place to satisfy that sweet tooth, check out the Flour Pot.
