Monday's editorial showed the editorial board's remarkable ignorance when it asked if a national run was in the works for Gov. Charlie Crist.
Crist is already being courted for the vice presidential slot for the Republicans in 2008. In the 2007 Florida legislative session, state laws were changed that would allow him to run for vice president without resigning as governor. Regardless of whether the Republicans win or lose in 2008, it isn't a stretch to see Crist running for president in 2016.
Maybe if the Alligator spent less time making fun of Crist's skin pigment, it would know this.
