Hooray! SG elections are finally over. I no longer have to dodge perky Gator Party representatives as they try to attack me on Turlington Plaza. In high school, I was heavily involved with student government, but I never attacked unwilling participants as they walked to class.

Over the past few days I have had to take several detours to avoid representatives as they tried to tell me why I should vote. I did not vote, which may seem ignorant, but I was annoyed at the representatives for coming up to me everywhere I went.

I have a few suggestions for the parties running next year, so we can walk to class peacefully. One way is to offer free food. With free food, plenty of people will talk to you about your election. Another suggestion is to have assemblies or debates that are advertised, so if people are interested they can go by choice. Lastly, cut down on pursuing students as we walk to class. I feel guilty when I don't listen to you, so I try to avoid you. If you see people avoiding you, don't go after them.
