The Florida Board of Governors rejected Santa Ono as UF’s next president in a 10-6 vote.
The Florida Board of Governors will decide whether sole finalist Santa J. Ono will become UF's 14th president.
The Florida Board of Governors will vote Tuesday whether to confirm Santa J. Ono as UF’s 14th president. If confirmed, Ono is poised to begin a five-year contract at UF with a base annual salary of $1.5 million per year.
