Yesterday I was worried that I wouldn't have time to buy a Gator Growl ticket before the show Friday. Between my work schedule and classes, I just wasn't sure I would have time to pick up a ticket while I was on campus.

After one of my classes, I was walking through Turlington Plaza, and sure enough someone in a Gator Growl T-shirt started talking to me about how easy it was to buy a ticket. He assured me I could buy my ticket and even make it to my next class on time. Given my past experiences on campus, I was a bit skeptical. I expressed this concern to him and it was met with a challenge.

I marched over to Gate 13 of the stadium. Having bought a Gator Growl ticket before, I knew I'd probably have to leave for class right in the middle of trying to buy a - and before I could even finish my thought, I was holding a ticket in my hand and I was already on my way to my next class. I even walked in the door with a couple of minutes to spare.

I'm so excited about the performances this year, especially getting to see Lynyrd Skynyrd, and I just wanted to thank the Gator Growl staff for streamlining the previously hectic ticket process. I also wanted to specifically thank the Gator Growl staffer from Turlington Plaza, whose name I never learned, for literally making my weekend.
