Lakeland Kathleen receiver T.J. Lawrence announced he will be coming to UF. This will help the Gators fill the gap from two lost commits earlier in the day.
The Gators already lost two commits, Lakeland Lake Gibson High guard Ricky Barnum to Michigan and Melbourne Palm Bay High linebacker Ramon Buchanon to Miami, today and are down to 21 out of a possible 23 for signing day.
From here, UF can close with a smaller class and have more room for next season's group, which would probably work out well considering the Gators' depth chart is pretty full for the next two seasons. It would hurt their recruiting rankings though. Scout.com and Rivals.com have both dropped the Gators significantly today, and they'll keep falling as other schools pick up new players.
