December is Jeff Bridges Month

Riding of the high of winning Best Actor for his role in "Crazy Heart," phenomenal actor Jeff Bridges is going to delight audiences with two vastly diifferent roles this December.

Bridges will reprise his role as Kevin Flynn from Disney's cult classic 1982 film "TRON" in a sequel nearly 30 years in the making. "TRON: Legacy" follows Sam Flynn (played by Garret Hedlund) as he searches for his lost father and stumbles into the computer world.

Bridges will not only reprise his role as an older Kevin Flynn, but also plays Clu 2.0, a program with Flynn's appearance — only looking 20 years younger.

Much has changed in the world of "TRON," and with major advances in technology this film will be a step up from its predecessor.

"True Grit" is a classic Western film from 1969 that earned famous actor John Wayne his only Oscar. Now Bridges will step into Wayne's boots and play the one-eyed, gun-toting Marshal Cogburn.

The Coen Brothers, the masterminds behind such hits as "Fargo," "The Big Lebowski" and "No Country for Old Men," re-team with Bridges to bring a new take on the Western tale about a young girl looking to revenger her father's murder.

"TRON: Legacy" will hit 2-D and 3-D theaters on Dec. 17 while "True Grit" will arrive shortly afterward on Dec. 22.
