The Gators performed the robbery.
After a quiet three weeks for Florida during which it lost a commitment, coach Will Muschamp and his staff got some good news Friday when Middletown (Conn.) Xavier High linebacker Graham Stewart orally committed to the Gators.
Prior to an in-home visit from Muschamp on Friday, Stewart was committed to Boston College. But that quickly changed for the four-star linebacker, who told the Orlando Sentinel that Florida has always been his dream school.
Stewart, who is rated as the 16th-best middle linebacker in the class of 2011, is the second recruit to orally commit to Florida under Muschamp.
With just a few days remaining before National Signing Day on Feb. 2, Florida has 16 commitments.
Oral commitments are non-binding until a national letter of intent is signed on or after National Signing Day on Feb. 2.
