Tickets on sale for 2 Chainz, Action Bronson at O-Dome Nov. 13

Rap artists 2 Chainz and Action Bronson will turn up the Stephen C. O’Connell Center stage for a Student Government Productions concert in November.

Tickets went on sale Wednesday at the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Students can still purchase tickets on Ticketmaster.

The concert will take place Nov. 13 at the O’Connell Center at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Student tickets for floor access and level one are $15, and levels two and three are $10.  Non-student tickets for floor access and level one are $35, and levels two and three are $25. Student-priced tickets can only be purchased at Gate 1 at the O'Connell Center, and non-student tickets can be purchased both online at ticketmaster and at the O'Connell Center.

SGP is paying 2 Chainz $125,000 and Action Bronson $25,000 to perform, said Jonathan Schonfeld, SGP co-chairman.

Schonfeld said about 1,000 tickets have been sold already. The O’Connell Center has a capacity of about 6,000 people.

“We’re excited to have the two artists and we hope that students come out and have a great time,” he said.

Whitney Congress, head director of public relations for SGP, said they chose the performers based on student votes and suggestions from last year.

“We wanted to bring them because they have such high energy and a high following,” Congress said.
