The COVID-19 pandemic has thrown the sports calendar into disarray. The month of June usually features the NBA Finals and the Stanley Cup Final as well as the MLB's regular season and the U.S. Open. This summer was also supposed to have huge international events like the Summer Olympics in Tokyo and Euro 2020.

But not anymore.

Sports are still mostly at a standstill, with the exception of sports like golf and NASCAR.

However, there are plenty of sporting events that we are missing right now.

So, for the next week or so, we'll be writing about them.

Please enjoy reading about what we wish was still happening while stadiums and arenas across the country remain empty.

Declan Walsh: Little League World Series

River Wells: The Summer Olympics

Zachary Huber: Women's College World Series

Noah Ram: Wimbledon

Payton Titus: Women's NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament
