After facing the No. 1 North Carolina Tar Heels Feb. 19, two Gators earned AAC awards.

Goalkeeper Sarah Reznick received her second-straight AAC Freshman of the Week accolade and attacker Grace Haus also made a second-straight Honor Roll.

Reznick was named the AAC Freshman of the Week. She had a career-high 16 saves against UNC and tied the program record for the most saves in a game. The redshirt freshman ranks first in the conference and fourth in the nation with an average of 13.5 saves per game.

The Long Beach, New York, native has a chance to break UF’s all-time save record this season.

Haus earned a spot on the Honor Roll after a hat trick, assist and two ground balls against North Carolina. The senior attacker ranks second in the AAC in total goals and 10th with an average of 2.5 goals per game.

The Baltimore, Maryland, native looks to reach the 100-goal mark as she currently stands with 95 career goals.

Both of Florida’s games were postponed this week. UF’s Feb. 28 game against Loyola was postponed due to health and safety protocols. It’s unspecified which program is dealing with health issues. Additionally, it’s unknown if the rescheduled match will take place in Baltimore, Maryland, as initially planned.

The Gators will face the Owls on March 3 instead of Feb. 23 due to COVID-19 cases within Kennesaw’s program. Opening draw is set for 11 a.m. in Kennesaw, Georgia, at Sports Park Field 3.
