For the first time this season, Florida football released an official injury report ahead of its SEC opener against Auburn (2-0) on Saturday at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Most notably, UF wide receiver Eric Singleton Jr. was listed as questionable. ESPN's Pete Thamel reported before the report's release that the senior wideout would be a "game-time decision" and would dress and give it a go before the rivalry contest.
Singleton, who played for Auburn in 2025, left the first quarter of Florida's 66-21 win over Florida Atlantic on Sept. 5 with an ankle injury. That kept him out of action against Campbell on Sept. 12, but Gators head coach Jon Sumrall said Monday that Singleton was out of his walking boot.
Further, fifth-year defensive end Emmanuel Oyebadejo, who also left UF's win over FAU with a lower-body injury, is listed as questionable ahead of this week's contest.
"Do we want them both to be back? Yeah. But at the same time, we got to be smart tough, not dumb tough," Sumrall said Monday. "And if they're not available, if they're not ready to play the right way for themselves, it's going to hurt the team. And then also, what I don't want to do is put them back in the fray and do something that sets them back further. We'll see as the week goes."
No other Florida players are listed on the report, meaning TE Evan Chieca is confirmed to be back in action this weekend.
