Missouri looks to claw its way to victory against the No. 5 Gators in a home battle as Florida (12-1, 3-0 SEC) eyes its 11th consecutive win.

Florida has not dropped a match since Sept. 2 and  is riding the high of its last win, prevailing over then-No.3 Kentucky in a five-set thriller.

Coming off a 3-2 loss against Louisiana State, Missouri (8-7, 1-2 SEC) looks to get back in its groove and establish itself as a threat in the Southeastern Conference. The Tigers are 1-2 in SEC matchups, notching a win against Vanderbilt and falling to Ole Miss and LSU. The Gators stand strong at 3-0 in the conference.

Florida holds several dynamic weapons looking to make big moves. A consistent catalyst for the team, junior setter Taylor Parks sits just shy of 500 assists this season, averaging 36.46 assists per match. Her leadership, dependability and ball placement make her a standout on the roster.

Missouri senior setter Sierra Dudley leads the team with 245 assists and junior Nina Mandovic has also had a hand in notable plays, posting 212 assists this season.

For Florida, junior middle blocker Alec Rothe and senior middle blocker Brooklyn Briscoe spearhead the defense. Rothe has recorded 58 blocks this season, and Briscoe has 43. Overall, the Gators maintain 2.80 blocks per set, and the Tigers stand at 2.23 blocks per set.

But the defensive pair isn’t complete without the efforts of junior opposite hitter Logan King. After the affairs with Tennessee and Kentucky, King was awarded SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. She notched 40 blocks, 112 kills, 61 digs and 15 aces thus far.

Turning to the backcourt, the Tigers’ senior libero Ainoah Cruz has logged 264 digs this season, but her efforts have not been enough to clinch wins. Nevertheless, Cruz is a threat to Florida and will challenge its attackers to pick their spots and swing aggressively. Missouri’s front row will be challenged the same, as the Gators are armed with sophomore libero Lily Hayes, who has 187 digs this season.

First serve is set for 8 p.m. ET at the Hearnes Center in Columbia, Missouri.
