Hello Gators,
With the Fall semester already almost halfway over, I wanted to share with you some of Student Government’s accomplishments thus far.
We have recently installed Gatorade vending machines at the Student Recreation & Fitness Center and the Southwest Recreation Center, allowing students to enjoy Gatorade while working out.
Additionally, a new distribution program will help students stay dry by offering recyclable ponchos in various locations around campus.
Students can also borrow hammocks at both Southwest Rec and Student Rec by presenting their Gator 1 Cards at the information desks.
We are proud to announce the return of free parking at Southwest Rec.
Students can park in the Bledsoe Lot next to the recreation center during decal hours, which are from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The lot is located behind the soccer fields and directly across from the new Center For Outdoor Recreation and Education.
Make sure to download the PassportParking Mobile Pay app, or visit the website at ppprk.com/park to register your vehicle. The zone number for the Bledsoe Lot is 483.
Come out to Turlington Plaza on Wednesdays from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. to hang out with your SG executive officers and learn more about SG’s executive branch.
The best part of representing students is being able to meet them and learn about their experiences at UF, so come out for some free food and prizes.
Make sure to follow my administration on Facebook (UF Student Government), Twitter (@UF_SG), Snapchat (@UFstudentgov) and Instagram (@ufsg) to see what we’re up to throughout the year.
As always, please feel free to reach out with any comments, questions or concerns.
Go Gators!
