I remember coming home for Winter Break my freshman year and being bombarded with questions from my family. If it wasn’t, “Why are you still single?,” it was, “When are you going to bring your boyfriend home?”

It’s Friday night, and you’re getting ready for your date. You sit on your bed with five different shirts around you, two pairs of pants on the floor and more shoes than you can count are all over the room.
As I sit in my newly replaced pleather chair at Library West and look around, I can’t help but notice the dozens of couples around me.
College is a time to explore relationships and the kind of people we want to share them with. It’s also a time to figure out what you want, and sometimes committing can be more than your “better half” has to offer.
This summer I wrote a blog about cheap and creative dates in Gainesville. I figured this would be a good topic to revisit since we’re already four weeks into class and our financial aid is probably gone. Here it is guys (and gals), creative dates that won’t destroy your wallet:
When we care about something, we grow a special attachment to it. Sometimes it’s your dog, and that moment when he chooses to go to someone else instead of you eats you alive. Other times, it’s your boyfriend, and when you catch his eye wandering toward the freshman at 101 Cantina, you’re ready to pounce.
Now that school is back in session you and your boo are back in the same town. This could mean a lot of things, like late night dates to Paynes Prairie or in-between-class lunches. It could also mean losing focus on what we’re all here for, school, and facing the consequences later.
I have been absolutely loving the trends going on this summer. Usually I am not about always jumping on the bandwagon, but these trends have been styles I have worn for a while. It is like suddenly everything I like is in every store across the world. Literally. I saw them all over Paris and London as well as the US.
Last week I outlined my predictions for the first five games of the 2014 Gator football season. Here are my predictions for the last seven games:
Last night the time finally came to say my goodbyes to friends and family before I fly across the pond. In a fitting tribute to America, I hosted a leaving party where guests were on a strict dress code to wear only red, white and blue.
The center position has changed drastically over the last few years. Gone are the days of lumbering big men strictly posting up and patrolling the paint. Nowadays, there is much more emphasis placed on centers who are mobile and can spread the floor with their shooting or passing.
Every girl has heard the term LBD (little black dress). The little black dress has been a staple in every woman's wardrobe forever. Name one girl who does not own one; I bet you can't. The LBD is not only a classic wardrobe staple, it can make anyone look chic.
The 2013 Gator football season was one of the most disappointing in recent memory as the team went 4-8 and ended the year on a seven game losing streak. Now the 2014 campaign lies just a month away presenting an opportunity for the Gators to earn back the respect of both the SEC and the entire country. This is a make or break season for fourth year head coach Will Muschamp, who will most likely be out of a job if the Gators underachieve for the second year in a row.
