Now that's justice: A future for immigration reform

To hear the desperation and sorrow in her voice broke my heart. Sofía, a Salvadorian mother recounted the events that led her to make a decision to send her two sons away. Many may ask, how can a mother send her sons on such a treacherous journey? Sofía was threatened by the transnational gang Mara Salvatrucha, also known as the MS-13, that it would kidnap and kill her sons if she did not comply with its demands. Unfortunately, she is not the only one.

Now that's justice: Nicki Minaj, 'Anaconda'

When Nicki Minaj released the cover for her new song “Anaconda,” it was met with mixed results of praise and controversy. Featuring, most notably, Minaj’s behind, the cover sparked a series of debates over whether it was empowering, what it symbolized, and what, if anything, Minaj was trying to say by using such a provocative pose.

FYE: TomorrowLand vs. TomorrowWorld

EDM Festivals seem to sell themselves these days. The genre dominates every other genre (aside from pop, of course) and people flock to all types of EDM-centric events. FYE: What you should know about American Horror Story; Freak Show so far

The CEO of FX, John Landgraf, recently spoke about the upcoming new season of the show American Horror Story titled Freak Show. The new season follows performers at a carnival freak show, as the title reveals. Landgraf has said that American Horror Story's seasons have alternated between "brash and campy" like in the most recent season, Coven, and "dark and brooding" like in the previous season Asylum. Freak Show, he said, is a combination of both types. It will have some humor in it, but will also have a dark feeling to it. If you are new to American Horror Story, each season is a completely different theme and story, but most of the time the same actors come back to play different characters with some new additions to the cast as well; good news if you've never seen the previous seasons because you can jump right in and you haven't missed anything! This type of show is typically called an anthology. So, for those of you that are excited for Freak Show, here's what we know about it so far.

The Whole You: Glorify your body

You are beautiful. Have you ever looked into the mirror and told yourself that? I am beautiful. Three very simple words that encompass so much. Beauty is not just someone’s outward appearance, it is their spirit. It is who they are on the inside. I am a firm believer in that beauty shines from the inside out. I see so many people, men and women alike, who stare at themselves in the mirror with disdain. Do they not see how amazing they are? The human body is such an amazing thing; why not glorify it as such? We may not all have six pack abs, but we all have THE one and only human body to work with.

Three years ago the Harry Potter saga ended– or so we thought. It turns out that no matter how many times she says she’s finished with Harry’s story, JK Rowling still has a lot to tell us about the wizarding world. Here are some of the new things Potterheads can enjoy post-Deathly Hallows:
