Liberty solves divisive issues, not the state

No one denies that the philosophical divide between Americans on the political left and right has only grown sharper in recent years. Bitter resentment and contempt for those of opposing views is commonplace. It often seems that the stronger the convictions or the more awareness one has of political issues, the more fervently one tends to see others as opponents.

Corey: For those of you looking for a competitive NBA finals, don’t get your hopes up. The real finals ended when the Thunder took four straight games to upset the Spurs. Now begins the encore: like when you sit through a Dexys Midnight Runners concert. When they hit the stage at the end to play one last song, there is only one possible outcome.

Florida wins first NCAA Outdoor title

Sprinter Jeff Demps has the fastest all-conditions time for the NCAA in the 100 meter, senior Gray Horn has won the decathlon title in every Southeastern Conference Championship he’s competed in and Florida men’s 4x100 meter relay team set the second-fastest collegiate time earlier in the season. However, none of them competed at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
