Electronic dance music, or EDM for short, has quickly become a formidable genre in the always-dynamic world of music. Once a genre many wrote off for a variety of reasons (notably the way most songs abstained from including lyrics or the repetitive nature when compared to pop songs), it is now the most profitable genre in the world. It has its own culture, it appeals to the young and old alike, and it has created a movement in the way it has altered other genres (most seen in numerous pop songs today).

It’s Tuesday and summer classes are in full swing. Two lectures were posted yesterday, two more today, and finals are approaching. And let’s not forget the jobs, internships and attempt to manage a personal life in addition to academic responsibilities. Stress probably seems second nature to you. You might not even give a second thought to the growing uneasiness you experience. This schedule is a fairly ordinary one for a college student and you probably assume anxiety is inevitable.

The Miami Heat lost 4-1 in the NBA finals against the San Antonio Spurs, which leaves Miami with a 2-2 record in the Finals over the past four seasons. LeBron James now has the opportunity to leave town to pursue greener pastures after earning two rings in South Beach while Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh attempt to recover from an ugly championship series. Defensive back recruit flips commitment from Miami to UF

Florida flipped a 2016 recruit from in-state rival Miami over the weekend. 2016 defensive back Chauncey “CJ” Gardner (5-foot-11, 190 pounds, Cocoa Beach, Fla., Cocoa High) switched his commitment to UF on Saturday afternoon. Gardner attended Saturday’s session of Will Muschamp’s football camp and was offered a scholarship by coaches while he was still on campus.
