Local musician caro releases newest album

The 22-year-old UF electrical engineering senior, who makes music as caro, released “Introspection” July 9. The album blends Garcia’s classical piano beginnings with chillwave and R&B, representing the array of musical influences in her production.

Commemorating a decade of the Dive

High Dive hits a decade month, marking 10 years of highlighting local music, hosting national acts and giving back to the Gainesville community. The venue, a Gainesville staple, has hosted some of the area’s breakout stars and the nation’s biggest names throughout its run.

Papo’s Pop Shop to hold ‘Snack Attack’ market

Papo’s Pop Shop will hold its second vendor market on July 10 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 808 NW 13th St. In addition to Papo’s exotic snacks, the Snack Attack event will feature a variety of items from 12 local vendors, such as throwback clothing from Beasy Vintage, handmade jewelry from Whole Heart Goods and art from Fillup G.
