Tracy Hollingsworth Stephens, 50, was in a two-car crash in the parking lot of T.J. Maxx & HomeGoods, located at 1009 NW 76th Blvd., at about 5:12 p.m. and didn’t give her information to the other driver before she left the scene of the accident, according to an arrest report.

After Stephens drove away, a patrolman found her car stopped in the middle of a westbound lane of County Road 232 and Stephens outside of the car urinating, according to the report. The patrolman noticed a smell of alcohol on her breath and said Stephens had difficulty keeping balance.

A witness at the scene of the crash told FHP Stephens was asleep behind the wheel and the car was running before the witness came up to Stephens’ car window, according to the report.

Stephens performed poorly on field sobriety exercises and was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, damaging property and leaving an accident without providing identification.

She was taken to the Alachua County Jail where she remains, as of press time, in lieu of a $300,000 bond.
