Members of the UF baseball team will take a break from running bases to play basketball Wednesday against the Florida Force wheelchair basketball team.
Doug Lilly, coach of the Florida Force, said that although they've never squared off against the UF team, he's confident that the baseball players will be able to adjust to playing in a wheelchair.
"I think we'll have no problems," Lilly said.
The event, hosted by SFCC's Student Government and held in honor of Disability Awareness Day, starts at 11 a.m. in the SFCC gym.
"We usually talk to the younger kids about safety issues," Lilly said. "This event is more about the moral of our story."
