A 52-year-old Gainesville man was arrested Wednesday night after deputies said they found fentanyl, cocaine and marijuana during a traffic stop.
According to the arrest report, deputies stopped Darrell Johnson after observing him riding a bicycle in the wrong lane without a red rear reflector on Northeast 19th Street.
During the stop, a deputy reported smelling marijuana and said Johnson voluntarily showed a small bag of marijuana in a cross-body bag. Johnson did not have a medical marijana card, according to the arrest report.
While deputies attempted to search him, Johnson allegedly pulled away, attempted to run, fell to the ground and resisted efforts to place him in handcuffs, according to the report. An assisting deputy deployed a Taser, which allegedly got Johnson to stop resisting arrest.
According to the arrest report, the search uncovered 25 individually packaged bags containing 14 total grams of fentanyl, 5.3 grams of cocaine and 7.3 grams of marijuana.
Johnson had more than three times the amount required for a fentanyl trafficking charge, according to the arrest report.
He was charged with trafficking fentanyl, possession of marijuana, resisting an officer without violence and possession of cocaine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.
Johnson was transported to the Alachua County Jail, where he was booked early Thursday morning.
