Kyrie Irving, NBA superstar, said he believes Earth is flat, and now everyone on God’s green disk is losing their minds.

But I don’t understand why.

I think he’s right.

In my opinion, the Earth is flat.

Think about it: Do you have any proof the Earth is round? I’m not talking about fake NASA pictures. I mean real, actual, scientific proof.

Try having an open mind for once.

I bet you always accept what people tell you.

But the scientists, the media, even your teachers in elementary school have only been giving you one side of the story.

You know how I know I’m right?

Because as soon as I even start talking about this stuff, everyone tries to silence me.

Like Kyrie, they tell me I’m wrong. They laugh.

They don’t want us to ask the real questions because we’re not supposed to know the real answers.

It’s like I’m not even allowed to believe what I want.

After all, it’s just my opinion.

Ask Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say crazy, though. It’s just his opinion,” Green told reporters over the weekend.

“I’m not saying I think it’s flat or round. I don’t know, but it could be.”

Green’s got a point. Who are we to dismiss someone’s opinion?

I don’t call you out for believing in dinosaurs, even though there’s no evidence that dinosaurs existed.

I’ve seen evidence — from credible blogs — that reptilian shape-shifters from space just want us to believe that dinosaurs existed.

But I would never say you can’t have that opinion.

Even if you believe (wrongly) that the Earth is round, that’s fine.

Because Kyrie believing that the Earth is flat doesn’t matter.

Kyrie even said he thinks it’s hilarious that the media is freaking out about him.

All of the sudden, these so-called news outlets care about him just because he’s a prominent person with a controversial view.

It’s not like he has a following of young kids listening to him.

It’s not like a random public figure questioning facts can affect anything.

It’s not like he’s running for president or something.
